Welcome to the Filuxe platform (hereinafter referred to as "the Company" or "we"). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. Service Scope

Filuxe provides online preliminary valuation, doorstep recycling, authenticity authentication, and related consultation services for pre-owned branded luxury goods (including but not limited to handbags and accessories). Our services are available to customers in Hong Kong and internationally.

2. Valuation and Quotation

• Non-binding Valuation: The preliminary valuation provided online is based solely on the photos and descriptions you provide and does not constitute the final purchase price.
• Final Quotation: The final purchase price will be determined after physical inspection by our appraisers. If the actual condition of the item (such as wear, accessories, odor, etc.) differs from the description, we reserve the right to adjust or withdraw the quotation.
• Quotation Validity: All written quotations are valid for 48 hours; re-evaluation is required after expiration.

3. Authentication and Authenticity

We strictly adhere to the authentication standards of JVLA (Japan Vintage Luxury Association) and CCIC (China Inspection and Certification Group). If an item you submit is determined to be counterfeit, the Company will refuse to purchase it and reserves the right to report it to the relevant law enforcement authorities.

4. Transaction and Payment

• Transfer of Ownership: Once you accept the final quotation and receive payment, ownership of the item is fully transferred to Filuxe, the transaction is completed, and it is irrevocable.
• Payment Methods: We offer bank transfer, Faster Payment System (FPS), or cash (only for amounts below a specified limit and for doorstep services).

5. Logistics and Risk

For mailed recycling, the risk of the item remains with the sender until it is delivered to and signed for by the Company. We strongly recommend using a trackable courier service and purchasing full insurance. For doorstep recycling, the risk transfers to the Company once our specialist receives the item.

6. International Users

If you use our services from outside Hong Kong, you are responsible for complying with all applicable local laws, including but not limited to customs declarations and tax regulations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Filuxe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Service.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

9. Terms Modification

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Revised terms become effective immediately upon posting on the website. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
